FRUIT SALAD WITH LARGE STRAWBERRIES,

It is believed that the large strawberries are originally from the Alps but not cultivated until the sixteenth century. The large strawberries are two different species, coming from the new world.
CREAM OF ARTICHOKE

The artichoke season is from early winter to late spring. They are rich in fiber and laxatives, are low in calories and help to eliminate fat.
"TRINXAT" OF CERDANYA

Tipical dish from the region of Cerdanya . The “trinxat” is made with winter green cabbage. Our trinxat got “Donja” instead of bacon, a typical sausage of the mountain area.
CUTLEFISH "SOLSIDA" STYLE WITH CHICKPEAS

Recipe from the kitchen of Montsià and Baix Ebre area. It is a medieval dish which does not need water because the juice released from the cuttlefish and onions is enough to cook.

This is one of the most characteristic game stews and internationally known. The senglar is the wild relative of the pig. In Catalonia we find them everywhere but especially in the mountains areas.
