In this editorial, we answer our costumers:
How do we prepare dishes with food from organic, integrated or PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) and maintain reasonable prices if on the market, these products are worth far more than the rest?
First, this grade of products are more expensive because their production takes longer for both fattening and growing.
By not using plant pesticides, or if they do they are low in residue, therefore there is more loss during production which means that the products that make it to market are sold at higher prices.
By not using preservatives, it is also harder to maintain their freshness, and in turn selling is more difficult.
Their distribution is also more expensive due to limited shipments: having lower volume, the cost rises.

NEW EXPOSITION AT RAMÓN I CAJAL 12

This foto exposition emerges and is build up around the interaction between Numa´s fotographic eye and the pecularities of barcelona. The result is an esthetic look half way between costumbrist shapes and anecdotic motifs. Between a naturalized form and a circunstantial, almost irrelevant, content.
It is precisely in that narrative ambiguiti that the esthetic look of the exposition is configured.
"I try to discover those forgotten corners, where maybe nowadays people don´t pay that much attention; On me, on the contrary, they generate may sensations". Numa discovers us a new Barcelona, her Barcelona, gifting us unending sensations vía contemplation.
We invite the expectator to search her memories, making himself a new image of Barcelona.

4th ANNUAL WINE MENU COMPETITION
A good wine is one of the essential elements of a good restaurant. For this reason, and also to reward those establishments that demonstrate an extensive and careful selection of Catalan wines, for the fourth consecutive year, the CARTAVI awards have been given out, organized by the Catalan Institute of Wine (INCAVI). In this edition, for the third consecutive year, "La Llavor dels Orígens" has won 2nd Place in "The best wine menu in Catalonia" for Group A.
